Kawasaki GPZ750 Turbo.

God I lusted after this bike when it came out. The sudden rush when that turbo gets spun up must be amazing.

Honda ATC 90

The original Emperor of Dune: The history of the Honda ATC 90

Leaps and Bounds!

Wow! What a month!!  I got a great link from Pipeburn (GREAT site. Please please check them out) and had a nice predictable spike in traffic but an aweful lot of folks must have stuck around because there's been a pretty steady gain in traffic since then.  A very sincere thank you to everyone for stopping by and welcome to all the new readers.  I hope you're finding it as interesting as I find it fun!

turbine ground power unit

"In 1996 I came across a turbine ground power unit (GPU) that belonged to a NF 5 jet fighter. The same type is also used as a auxiliary power unit (APU) of a Fokker F28 . I bought it for 2000 guilders not knowing what to do with it. First I planned to put it in my Trabant P601 car but the idea was abandoned in favour of a turbine motorcycle.

A friends Militarized Ural Sidecar.

I love this sort of bike. 2 wheel drive and all he needs is a machine gun!

Phantom

"For those of you familiar with the history of the Phantom Manufacturing Company, you will be aware that Mrs. Ramsbottom, company secretary, has been in spiritual contact with the three founders, Erasmus Thump, Enoch Podsnap and Titus Bottomly for many years now. Just recently, the location of the lost key of the Phantom works was revealed to her by none other than the spirit of Erasmus Thump himself..."
